Sunscreen for oily skin and dry skin
Oily skin: the finish is matte and weightless, which is what oily skin needs from a sunscreen. If your skin is very oily, apply it in two thin layers and give it a few minutes to set. Our guide to which sunscreen is best for oily skin explains what to look for.
Dry skin: the natural oils in the formula keep it comfortable. On very dry skin, apply a moisturizer first and let it absorb before the sunscreen.
What does anhydrous sunscreen mean?
Anhydrous means "without water". Most sunscreens are lotions, a mix of water and oil held together by emulsifiers. An anhydrous sunscreen leaves the water out and carries its UV filters in oils and emollients instead. The result is a thin, matte layer that feels light on the skin. As with any sunscreen, what protects you is applying enough of it and reapplying it.
How to use it
